Come on in folks the waters fine. There's a really good special on PBS this week about the Aircraft Carrier Nimitz. It's a ten hour special and plays every night for two hours, so don't worry about your regular programs, you get to see some good old fashioned propoganda just like WW2 when they had Donald Duck in an army uniform to show that it was the American way to go to war. We have two carriers in the Persian Gulf, with Lord knows how many nuclear submarines, so what an oppertune moment to take up time on PBS to show that there is plenty of apple pie being served to our young folks in the US Navy. Why, it's almost like Disneyland being on a carrier and contributing to George Duhbaya Bu$h's war for oil. Never mind what havok is being reeked on the Iraqi people or the repurcussions from using DU warheads it's time to sign up and go to war with Iran. As an added bonus you will learn about direct energy weapons which will soon be the American weapon of choice for the war on terror.
by Jack Spencer and James Jay Carafano, Ph.D. August 2, 2004
America's critical infrastructure--e.g., power plants, transportation hubs, and telecommunications facilities--is becoming increasingly vulnerable to precision missile attacks. Guided missile technology and the missiles themselves have been available for years, but the emergence of global terror networks, sophisticated smuggling techniques, and the post-September 11 security environment have made the threat of precision missile attacks even more serious. While technology transfer legislation and international agree-ments may help to control the spread of some technologies, relying solely on these mechanisms is wholly insufficient, especially when proliferation has already occurred. Therefore, it is essential that the United States actively defend its most vital nodes of critical infrastructure. 1 To be effective against close-range missile attacks, such defenses must be cost efficient, safe, and swift.
Although the United States is not currently prepared to protect domestic targets against these threats, it does have the technology to do so with directed-energy weapons (DEWs), which include lasers, microwaves, electromagnetic pulses, and high intensity radio frequency waves. In 2000, for example, the Army used the Tactical High Energy Laser to shoot down a rocket carrying a live warhead--the first time a laser has destroyed a missile in flight.
In 1991, before the Soviet military withdrew from East Germany, the GRU demonstrated for the U.S. Air Force Electronic Security Command (AFESC) the capabilities of its infrared beam weapon by reducing a ceramic plate into dust from a distance of one mile. This display of Soviet weapon technology was meant to impress upon the U.S. Air Force "how a stealth bomber could be turned into dust in the same way," the physicist said.
The physicist placed a slightly warmed plate on the floor of a kitchen in an apartment on the fifth floor, just below the roof. GRU headquarters in Weimar (DDR), where the infrared beam originated was less than one mile away on the other side of the valley and the second transmitter or reflector was 200 meters away, with no obstacles between. An infrared beam weapons requires two sources.
The TV and the oven were turned on and the TV's remote control was put in the refrigerator. The physicist left the room and watched the TV screen, which went black for a few seconds. The physicist left the apartment for a half hour to allow AFESC personnel to examine the results.
The plate had been reduced to dust that was difficult to pick up even with a vacuum cleaner, according to the physicist. "The plate was not destroyed suddenly as if hit by a bullet, rather it disintegrated in a process taking about 15 minutes." If the WTC had been struck by a similar weapon, than it is very likely, according to the physicist that one of the transmitters could have been placed in a high building nearby or on a moving platform such as a satellite, plane, or ship, and the reflector, or second source, on a ship or across the East River. Some of the pertinent questions that should be asked to determine if such a weapon was involved in the collapse of the WTC would be: How long did the towers' emergency power supply continue to function and had the computers in the towers been disturbed?
In 1996, the U.S. Army and the Israeli Ministry of Defense began to develop a short-range tactical high energy laser (THEL), which has since become the most successful laser-based anti-missile program in history. It is the most advanced directed-energy technology that the American armed forces have available to protect critical infrastructure. Demonstrating the unique threat flexibility of laser weapons, THEL has intercepted dozens of threats and a growing list of different threat types, including a large number of Russian Katyusha rockets, five artillery shells, and, more recently, large caliber rockets. The Army is preparing to build a mobile prototype (Mobile THEL or MTHEL), which will add mobility and high operational readiness. MTHEL could protect against the kind of rocket and mortar threats that U.S. troops have been facing in Iraq and Afghanistan. HORNET (a slightly different, upgraded MTHEL configuration) could also protect an airport against a full range of MANPADs and other precision strike threats.
Did a laser beam weapon cause the collapse of the World Trade Center? A physicist who worked on the original infrared beam weapon has reason to believe so.
More than five months after the sudden and total collapse of the World Trade Center (WTC), the cause of the towers' structural failure has yet to be properly investigated and remains unexplained, according to America's leading fire engineering experts. As part of an on-going investigation into the disaster, American Free Press has interviewed a German physicist who believes a laser beam weapon, employing infrared technology originally developed in the Soviet Union, may have caused the collapse of the towers.
Unexplained Collapse
When the twin towers collapsed shortly after being struck by airplanes on September 11, millions of television viewers watched the apocalyptic scenario unfold. As immense clouds of concrete dust rolled across lower Manhattan, people around the world tried to comprehend what they were seeing. Nearly six months later, people are still trying to understand exactly what caused the two tallest buildings in the United States to completely crumble into a pile of burning rubble. However, it now appears likely that the federal government will not be conducting an open and comprehensive inquiry and that the most important questions surrounding the towers' collapse may remain unanswered. The destruction of the World Trade Center was the first total collapse of a high-rise in the history of the United States and the largest structural collapse in recorded history. It resulted in the deaths of some 3,000 people, the second largest loss of life on American soil — and the largest loss of firefighters ever.
However, instead of conducting an immediate forensic investigation into the causes of the disaster, the Bush administration has allowed critical evidence to be destroyed and now wants to limit the congressional investigation — an investigation that has not yet begun. Bush Wants to Limit WTC Investigation
Recently both President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney personally intervened and asked Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (Dem. - S.D.) "to limit the congressional investigation into the events of Sept. 11," according to CNN. Bush made the unusual request at a private meeting with congressional leaders on January 29. He asked that the House and Senate intelligence committees only look into "the potential breakdowns among federal agencies that could have allowed the terrorist attacks to occur," rather than conduct a comprehensive inquiry.
Cheney made a similar appeal to Daschle on Jan. 25. "The vice president expressed the concern that a review of what happened on September 11 would take resources and personnel away from the effort in the war on terrorism," Daschle said. "I acknowledged that concern, and it is for that reason that the Intelligence Committee is going to begin this effort, trying to limit the scope and the overall review of what happened," Daschle said. Although the president and vice president told Daschle they were worried a wide-reaching inquiry could distract from the government's war on terrorism, privately Democrats questioned why the White House feared a broader investigation to determine possible culpability.
WASHINGTON - Gen. David Petraeus, the four-star general who has been leading troops in Iraq, has been tapped to become the next commander of U.S. Central Command, The Associated Press reported on Wednesday.
If confirmed by the Senate, he would replace Navy Adm. William Fallon, who stepped down in March.
Taking Petraeus' position as the senior commander in Iraq would be Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno, who had until recently been serving as Petraeus' deputy.
** Camp New Jersey, Kuwait (March 21, 2003)—Major General David H. Petraeus
*** In June 2004, less than six months after the 101st returned to the U.S., Petraeus was promoted to lieutenant general and became the first commander of the Multi-National Security Transition Command Iraq. This newly-created command had responsibility for training, equipping, and mentoring Iraq's growing Army, Police, and other security forces as well as developing Iraq's security institutions and building associated infrastructure, such as training bases, police stations, and border forts.
**** In January 2007, as part of his overhauled Iraq strategy, President George W. Bush announced that Petraeus would succeed Gen. George Casey as commanding general of MNF-I to lead all U.S. troops in Iraq. General Patraeus recieved his fourth star at this time compliments of George Bu$h.
My daughter who lives in Portland has a profound revelation every now and then. I was surprised to find this video that she did on Youtube. They are easy to do she tells me and when she fills me in on the details I guess I might try one.
Here's another of her videos called...
The Auto-dialer
At my job we use an automatic dialing machine. It's like the Borg: Resistance is futile. I often feel like I am just a part of the system. Here's a bit about it.
Hmm, I wonder if I should get one of these and use it to promote peace, justice and the American way? Or maybe just for contacting my representatives in government? nNah forgeddaboudit, I wouldn't last for more than a minute...G: ...zzzZZZ
Comparable auto dialers cost thousands of dollars! There’s simply no other system out there that offers what Voicent Autodialer does for such an affordable price. Standard Edition $299
Or you can get the top of the line autodialer for $1000. Smart autodialers can automatically dial a list of phone numbers, play a pre-recorded message combined with text-to-speech messages. It can also interact with recipients by pressing a key pad, let recipients to confirm the call, to leave voice messages, and most importantly, to connect the receipients to you live when they request by pressing a key.
This video has been sitting on Youtube for a couple of weeks folks, and Billybobjoe has had his account suspended probably because of it. The whole site was removed including hundreds of videos and is either unavailable or deleted. Youtube will not correspond or comment on the reasons for the suspension, but another Youtuber, Scottie has had his account suspended too for asking that everybody post the War With Iran video.
Here's an artical from the Asian Times that re-enforces what Billybobjoe is talking about...
March 20 is destined to be another day of infamy. On this date this year, the US officially declared war on Iran. But it's not going to be the kind of war many have been expecting.
No, there was no dramatic televised announcement by President George W Bush from the White House. In fact, on this day, reports the Washington Post, Bush spent some time communicating directly with Iranians, telling them via Radio Farda (the US-financed broadcaster that transmits to Iran in Farsi, Iran's native language) that their government has "declared they want to have a nuclear weapon to destroy people". But not to worry, he told his listeners in Farsi-translated Bushspeak: Tehran would not get the bomb because the US would be 'firm'."
Over at the US Congress, no war resolution was passed, no debate transpired, no last-minute hearing on the Iran "threat" was held. The Pentagon did not put its forces on red alert and cancel all leave. The top story on the Pentagon's website (on March 20) was: "Bush lauds military's performance in terror war", a feel-good piece about the president's appearance on the US military's TV channel to praise "the performance and courage of US troops engaged in the global war on terrorism". Bush discussed Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa, but not Iran.
But make no mistake. As of Thursday, March 20 the US is at war with Iran. So who made it official?
A unit within the US Treasury Department, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which issued a March 20 advisory to the world's financial institutions under the title: "Guidance to financial institutions on the continuing money laundering threat involving illicit Iranian activity."
FinCEN, though part of the chain of command, is better known to bankers and lawyers than to students of US foreign policy. Nevertheless, when the history of this newly declared war is one day written (assuming the war is allowed to proceed) FinCEN's role will be as important as that played by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in directing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
In its March 20 advisory, FinCEN reminds the global banking community that United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSC) 1803 (passed on March 3, 2008) "calls on member states to exercise vigilance over the activities of financial institutions in their territories with all banks domiciled in Iran, and their branches and subsidiaries abroad".
UNSC 1803 specifically mentions two Iranian state-owned banks: Bank Melli and Bank Saderat. These two banks (plus their overseas branches and certain subsidiaries), along with a third state-owned bank, Bank Sepah, were also unilaterally sanctioned by the US in 2007 under anti-proliferation and anti-terrorism presidential executive orders 13382 and 13224.
As of March 20, however, the US, speaking through FinCEN, is now telling all banks around the world "to take into account the risk arising from the deficiencies in Iran's AML/CFT [anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism] regime, as well as all applicable US and international sanctions programs, with regard to any possible transactions" with - and this is important - not just the above three banks but every remaining state-owned, private and special government bank in Iran.
The Roman Catholic Church leader received an unprecedented welcome by the president Tuesday. Mr. Bush, his wife, and their daughter Jenna traveled to Andrews Air Force Base to greet the pope, a first for the president.
President Bush is to welcome Pope Benedict with a 21-gun salute in a ceremony at the White House Wednesday.
During his flight to the U.S., Pope Benedict told reporters he felt deep shame over the sex abuse scandal by priests in the Roman Catholic Church in the U.S. The church has paid at least $2 billion to victims of abuse and hundreds of priests have been removed.
The pontiff is to hold open-air Masses in Washington and New York during his six-day visit. He also will address leaders of Catholic colleges, speak at the United Nations, and visit the site of the former World Trade Center, which was destroyed by a terrorist attack in 2001.
In 2003 General jayGarner was selected to lead the post-war reconstruction efforts in Iraq and he began reconstruction efforts in March 2003 with plans aiming for Iraqis to hold elections within 90 days and for the U.S. to quickly pull troops out of the cities to a desert base. He was replaced in his role by Paul Bremer, the Managing Director of Kissinger and Associates, on May 11, 2003
Garner was moved aside because he did not agree with the White House about who should decide how to reconstruct Iraq. He wanted early elections - 90 days after the fall of Baghdad, and the new government to decide how to run the country and what to do with their assets. Garner said "I don't think Iraqi's need to go by the U.S. plan, I think that what we need to do is set an Iraqi government that represents the freely elected will of the people. It's their country… their oil
Biopiracy and GMOs: The Fate of Iraq's Agriculture
by Ghali Hassan
Global Research, December 12, 2005
While the Iraqi people are struggling to end the U.S. military Occupation and its associated violence, the fate of their food sources and agricultural heritage is being looted behind closed doors. Unless the colonisation of Iraq ends, the U.S. Occupation of Iraq will continue to have lasting and disastrous effects on Iraq's economy and Iraq's ability to feed its people.
Iraq is home to the oldest agricultural traditions in the world. Historical, genetic and archaeological evidence, including radiocarbon dating of carbon-containing materials at the site, show that the Fertile Crescent, including modern Iraq, was the centre of domestication for a remarkable array of today's primary agricultural crops and livestock animals. Wheat, barley, rye, lentils, sheep, goats, and pigs were all originally brought under human control around 8000 BCE. Iraq is where wild wheat was once originated and many of its cereal varieties have been exported and adapted worldwide. The beginning of agriculture led inexorably to the development of human civilization.
Is it because John Yoo, the former Justice Department's hired hand, is such an easy target? Is it because of the cheeky, in-your-face way in which Yoo argues that the president has the authority to have your eyes poked out and your sons' testicles crushed, because we are "at war" and he is commander-in-chief?
Or is it because our press is STILL reluctant to go after Yoo's guys – first and foremost his ultimate client – President George W. Bush? Oh, but that would be hard, you say.
Nonsense.
Available on the Web, in its original format, is a 7 Feb. 2002 action memorandum that the president signed to implement the dubious advice he was getting from Yoo and those at Justice who hired Yoo – and from the vice president's office which guided Yoo.
Yoo did their dirty work (and now he takes the rap).
Weren't Yoo's co-conspirators careful to keep their fingerprints off the more blatantly offensive memoranda? Sure they were.
But there was one problem. Then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and then-CIA Director George Tenet could not get their people to torture folks without written, signed authorization by the president.
And we have a copy of that authorization? Yes, it's been available for years. You have to download it to believe it.
In his Feb. 7, 2002, memorandum, Bush wrote: "I determine that common Article 3 of Geneva does not apply to either al-Qaeda or Taliban detainees." (Common Article 3 bans "torture [and] outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment.")
There has been a concerted effort, on the innertubes,
to promote the governments official story about how
building 7 of the World Trade Center came down, so rather than a real investigation we are asked to read the 10,000 pages of the NIST report.
If you are reading the blogs about 911 I'm sure you have run across some lengthy comments that are copied and pasted from Arthur Scheuerman's book, Fire in the Skyscraper. And more recently we see references to Arthur's opinions on the collapse of building 7. And more recently yet we see a revised version with ommisions and rewrites that in my opinion are done to fit the official
story.
The Olympic torch relay got off to a chaotic start Wednesday when the torchbearer was re-routed as thousands of China supporters and protesters lined the route in San Francisco.
The flame disappeared from view when the torchbearer was routed through a warehouse after Wednesday afternoon's opening ceremony, reappearing 30 minutes later about a mile from the expected location.
Before the opening ceremony, San Francisco police said the Olympic torch relay route would be cut in half.
Authorities did not offer an immediate explanation for the change, but city officials had warned they might shorten the six-mile route for security reasons.
Crowds began to gather early in the day at San Francisco's McCovey Cove, where the Olympic torch is scheduled to make its North American debut amid tight security.
The torch's circuitous travel around the globe has already has been marked by demonstrations against China's policies toward Tibet and Sudan, and more demonstrations are expected worldwide before it reaches the games.
San Francisco officials said police officers were backed up by other Bay Area police departments, the California Highway Patrol and the FBI in an effort to keep Olympic runners and bystanders safe, while protecting the protesters' right to free speech.
Nearly 80 torchbearers had prepared to carry the Olympic flame along the route past hordes of protesters and counterprotesters.
Ultramarathon runner Dean Karnazes, who was to be one of the torch runners, said the city of San Francisco has taken the proper precautions to protect runners.
Karnazes said city officials reassured participants that law enforcement would work with the State Department and international authorities to avoid a repeat of the chaotic demonstrations in Paris and London. Karnazes also said the actual relay route would be kept secret as long as possible.
Violent protests in those cities prompted several San Francisco torchbearers to drop out.
San Francisco is the only stop for the torch in North America. The city was chosen to host the relay, in part, because of its large Chinese-American population.
Many San Francisco residents have asked for calm and expressed their pride that China was chosen to host the Olympics.
Chinese officials have dismissed previous demonstrations as the actions of a few who are trying to hijack a historical event for their own purposes.
Later this week, the International Olympic Committee will consider canceling the rest of the torch's world tour.
An ongoing commentary from Suzie-Q's blog about Arthur Scheuerman and the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings. This starts at about the time that Ronald Weick and Mark Roberts (self proclaimed debunkers) from the JREF forums did an interview on Hardfire featuring Arthur Scheuerman. The following should give some insight into the going ons about WTC7 and how documents can sometimes be revised to fit the story.
Because of the damage to the building and the failure of the water supply, after talking to the owner, the Fire Department decided to evacuate the building and not to attempt to control the fires but to let them burn out. Since it was a “fire resistive” building, there would have been every expectation that the fires would burn out without any local or global collapse. However, given that the towers had collapsed and that there had been a serious interior collapse of Building 5, there was concern, and the collapse area around the building was cleared.
from the video
Mark Robertson: “people on the ground didn’t confer with anyone else”.

Pomaroo: “Now Arthur it sounds to me like this is an extraordinary feat by the fire department to avoid any more loss of life on this terrible day”.
Arthur says “Yeh, absolutely, especially when you abandon a building and there is an uncontrolled fire, there is a possibility of collapse no matter what kind of building it is uh if the fire is bad enough

Sorry for the mis wording. I told them not to include that statment in the final cut but they probably forgot.
The problem was that the building was not up to code because the PA of NY,NJ was not required to follow any codes and there was a design defect in the use of long span bar joist so the building was not actually a fireproof building as the collapse proved.
I see that there is discussion over at JREF about whether the FDNY was in on it, but whether that is a subject of prime importance looks questionable to me. If they are implicated that would be something to be determined at an investigation, rather than a Psuedo-intellectual forum. Gravy has used Hayden’s interview to claim that WTC was visably out of balance, but not paying attention to some of his other testimony. Such as his description of the lobby of WTC1 when he first entered it. That the windows were all blown out and that all the slabs of marble were blown off the walls.
Some of the other stuff in his testimony says that there was water available at West and Vesey St’s.
“We had a water supply problem because I remember the water main was broken. Actually, to get water over in our sector over there at West and Liberty we got one of the fireboats to draft for us. It turned out it was the retired John J. Harvey that started drafting for us. Thats what got us water. When somebody total me the Harvey was pumping water, I said the Harvey? Thank God it was there because it pumped for us for about three to five days.”
Arthur: I looked at both of your articles and they both gave “failure of the water supply” as one of the reasons for letting WTC7 burn? …G:
This is Joe's new channel folks. Just click on the Youtube link to bring you to Sludgereport2. If this video survives without the Corporate Media interfering we can again listen to Joe speak truth to power. He is indeed reporting the truth about this corporation that we call a government and now that I think about it, there has indeed been very little said on the MSM about the current build-up in the Persian Gulf. Two US Navy Strike groups, each with 4 Nuclear subs, a carrier, and accoutrements, and Bob Gates in Dubai discussing The Straights of Hormuz.
* Human-cow embryo created in world-first experiment * Embryo survives for three days * Critics say development is 'monstrous'
HUMAN-cow embryos have been created in a world first at Newcastle University in England, hailed by the scientific community, but labelled "monstrous" by opponents.
A team has grown hybrid embryos after injecting human DNA into eggs taken from cows' ovaries, which had most of their genetic material removed.
The nerds at Newcastle are a bit behind the curve on this DNA stuff. My friends Dad and Highwayman could give you an ear full on this subject and from what I see on the innertubes the NWO has been playing around with DNA for years. Do you remember the TV series in the 1980's about the dude that could change into an animal?
Manimal was a television series that ran from September 30, 1983 to December 17, 1983 on NBC. It is about a shape-shifting man who can turn himself into any animal, and uses this ability to fight crime. It starred the British actor Simon MacCorkindale.
Opening narration
For every episode except for the pilot, actor William Conrad recites the opening narration that tells of Chase's wealthy present life and his early days in Africa with his missionary father. “ Dr. Jonathan Chase... wealthy, young, handsome. A man with the brightest of futures. A man with the darkest of pasts. From Africa's deepest recesses, to the rarefied peaks of Tibet, heir to his father's legacy and the world's darkest mysteries. Jonathan Chase, master of the secrets that divide man from animal, animal from man... Manimal!

I've already done an article on this, but I think that it is important that we keep harping on this and also keep an eye on the evidence. I don't think we need any theories about how the whole thing happened, but that we keep busy documenting evidence anywhere we can paste it up. The 911 debunkers are working overtime and putting a lot of effort into dividing anyone who doesn't believe the official story into factions, like no planers, troofers, etc. and calling anyone who doubts their Bovine shite "conspiracy theorist's".
I doubt if the NIST report will be completed by this summer, but who's holding their breath. It seems to framing the evidence in a way that it fits the conclusions that Bu$hco has allready made. An investigation has not happened and will not happen untill these Neocon crooks are drug, whining screaming and kicking, out of the Whitehouse.
The good news is that there is a lot of evidence being brought to light and a lot of it is in NY Museums. The analysis of these conglomerates of concrete and fused metal will reveal things that don't fit into the government's story, as the NIST report denies that there was any melted steel.
If this is indeed melted concrete and fuzed steel, the temperatures would have been well above 2000 degrees fahrenheit and maybe closer to 2500 degrees.
GREENWALD: ... One of the oddest shapes is called the compression. It's so valuable that it's been locked inside a tent within the hangar. It looks like a meteorite and nobody knows which tower it came from says Charles Gargano, vice chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns the hangar and the Trade Center Site. Gargano says the compression is actually 4 stories that have been crushed into a jagged object four feet high.
GARGANO: This is metal that has been compressed again as the result of the collapse of these extremely tall buildings. And that is made up, composition of different materials steel, concrete and other materials and you can see how that was compressed.
Amazingly, it's possible to make out individual objects. There are bathroom tiles, a pipe, and blackened pieces of paper carbonized by the heat. It smells like charcoal. Peter Gatt, who's one of the preservationists here, points to the spine of what looks like a corporate report.
GATT: This is a book. You can find a book inside. You can read letters on these little papers and for some reason they're still here.
BETH: You can actually make out words on some of these tiny pieces of carbonized paper...
Like with the charges of White Phosphorous a.k.a. “Willy Pete” being used in Fallujah against non-combatant civilians, such details are ignored. So is the “accidental” killing of an Italian intelligence agent in Iraq who was trying to extract a reporter involved in the information presented in the Italian news documentary, Fallujah: the Hidden Massacre, by the state broadcaster RAI. The film was never shown in the U.S. but international audiences saw everything, such as bodies of women and children half-melted and black-burned inside their clothing or the eyewitness testimonies of people running while their skin was peeling from them after contact. These stories are skipped in the American media as well.
If the Geneva Conventions and international accords have any bearing at all, the Downing Street Memorandum demands attention. It always has, only we have all allowed American Exceptionalism to mute the truth, which has always been right in front of us the entire time.
