******************************************************************************************************* Oct 25, 2024******* Protestors disrupted Senator Alex Padilla at an event in San Francisco, demanding he call for a ceasefire and full arms embargo on Israel. He has continuously ignored constituents' calls to speak out against Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people, but he finally called for a ceasefire for the first time. Protestors asked Padilla to commit to an arms embargo and they would leave. When he refused, they successfully shut down the event after 17 minutes.
