The Mysterious Life and Death of Philip Schneider

Al Pratt suspected something was wrong with his friend Philip Schneider. The Mysterious Life and Death of Philip Schneider For several days in a row, Al had gone to Phil's apartment, in Willsonville, Oregon, saw his car in the parking lot, but received no answer at the door. Finally, on January 17th, 1996, Al Pratt, along with the manager of the Autumn Park Apartments and a detective from the Clackamas County Sheriff's office entered the apartment. Inside, they found the body of Philip Schneider. Apparently he had been dead for five to seven days. The Clackamas County Coroner's office initially attributed Philip Schneider's death to a stroke. However, in the following days disturbing details about his death began to surface, leading some to believe that Philip Schneider had not died from a stroke, but had in fact been murdered.

Philip Schneider's life was certainly as controversial as his death. He was born on April 23, 1947 at Bethesda Navy Hospital. Philip's parents were Oscar and Sally Schneider. Oscar Schneider was a Captain in the United States Navy, worked in nuclear medicine and helped design the first nuclear submarines. Captain Schneider was also part of OPERATION CROSSROADS, which was responsible for the testing of nuclear weapons in the Pacific AT Bikini Island. In a lecture videotaped in May 1996, Philip Schneider claimed that his father, Captain Oscar Schneider, was also involved with the infamous "Philadelphia Experiment." In addition, Philip claimed to be an ex-government structural engineer who was involved in building underground military bases (DUMB) around the country, and to be one of only three people to survive the 1979 incident between the alien Grays and U.S. military forces at the Dulce underground base. Philip Schneider's ex-wife, Cynthia Drayer believes that Philip was murdered because he publicly revealed the truth about the U.S. government's involvement with UFOs.

JOHN "9/11 Commission did a good job" McCAIN

Republican presidential candidate John McCain was literally overwhelmed by reporters from WeAreChange.org and Infowars.com seeking 9/11 truth during a campaign stop.

McCain, who wrote the forward to Popular Mechanics' Debunking 9/11 Myths, repeatedly told reporters, "I do not support a new investigation" and stated that he believes the "9/11 Commission did a good job."

But other reporters continued to hammer the complicit senator with further questions and demands for a new 9/11 investigation. Seemingly frustrated that he could not simply brush off 9/11 truthers, McCain retreated to his SUV where he entertained questions from the mainstream media only.

Staff members attempted to take away a bullhorn and remove alternative media from the site, but backed off at warnings not to assault the reporters or stifle the first amendment.

Reporters cited hundreds of witnesses, including police officers, firefighters and former janitor William Rodriguez, who all reported hearing bombs go off in the lower levels of the WTC towers-- accounts that contradict the basic findings of the 9/11 Commission.

McCain flatly told reporters that he did not support a new investigation and claimed to have "additional information," stating that he did not believe there was a cover-up.

If such settling "additional information" indeed exists, John McCain has an obligation to share it-- though the mere fact that he has withheld information about 9/11 from the public seems to directly point to a cover-up.

Reporters also asked McCain about links with Ed Failor of Iowans for Tax Relief who hosted the recent televised forum for Republican presidential candidates and expressly left out Congressman Ron Paul. John McCain admitted that Ed Failor was a paid staff member working for his campaign.

McCain wrote in Debunking 9/11 Myths, "Blaming some conspiracy within our government for the horrific attacks of September 11 mars the memories of all those lost on that day."
Yet when reporters emphasized the fact that it is family members of 9/11 victims who want a new investigation, McCain merely walks away.

Where is the outrage?

It's been over a week since Scott McClelland's statement on "What Happened" hit the innertubes. He was at that time the spinmeister (press secretary) for Bu$hco and now regrets his role in spreading false information.

There was one problem. It was not true.

I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President's chief of staff, and the president himself."

The illegal war continues

While our troops are fighting in an illegal and immoral occupation of a country where the citizens are treated as the enemy, and are in a situation that nobody should ever be put in, the costs at home touch the hearts of many families. Viet Nam would be the only comparison, and in both cases our troops should have never been there. "Young men, you think you can get a haircut and say I'm done for two or three weeks. WRONG," Sgt. Major Thomas Smith Jr. intones.

"Young ladies. There's been no problem with your uniforms but there is a problem with your ties. Again, I will go through it again. Wear your ties when you come to my class."

One in 10 public high school students in Chicago wears a military uniform to school and takes classes -- including how to shoot a gun properly -- from retired veterans.

That number is expected to rise as junior military reserve programs expand across the country now that a congressional cap of 3,500 units has been lifted from the nearly century-old scheme.

While military officials say the junior reserve programs are not used as recruiting tools, about 30 to 50 percent of cadets eventually enlist, according to congressional testimony by the chiefs of staff of the various armed services in February 2000.

This is particularly troubling given that the programs are concentrated in low-income and minority neighborhoods, said Sheena Gibbs, a spokeswoman for the Chicago branch of the American Friends Service Committee which lobbies against the programs.

"If you want to teach discipline and leadership then do it for everyone and don't make them wear (military) uniforms," Gibbs said. "Students (at regular schools) protest that they have to still share books but the military academy has laptops."

At Chicago's Marine Military Math and Science Academy, the first public Marine academy in the nation and the fifth military academy run by the city's school district, it's easy to see how signing up for service would be a logical post-graduation step.

He will be replaced by Kevin Rudd, the Labor Party leader and a former diplomat. “Today Australia looks to the future,” Mr. Rudd told a cheering crowd in his home state, Queensland. “Today the Australian people have decided that we as a nation will move forward.”

Mr. Howard’s defeat, after 11 years in power, follows that of José María Aznar of Spain, who also backed the United States-led invasion of Iraq, and political setbacks for Tony Blair, who stepped down as Britain’s prime minister in June.

What the hell is the American dream anyway? Getting married, having children, buying the house, the car? Well if part of the American dream is owning a house, then lots of folks are going to have to just kiss that dream goodbye.

Many people are losing their homes. Well, not really "their" homes, but the homes that the banks own that they are trying to pay off and eventually own. The biggest problem Americans face today is the notorious ARM, or adjustable rate mortgage. The sub-prime mortgage. You see, many people that never should have qualified for a home loan, did at the hands of greedy predatory lenders that pushed as many people as they could through the process offering what the industry refers to as the "teaser rate". It's an interest rate that is fairly low and attractive.

Now for those of you that are not familiar with how a mortgage works, the interest rate determines what your monthly payment is going to be. So... if you start with a low rate, your payment is also fairly low. Attractive, huh? Yes, well that is what the borrowers sees as well. Now, after about a year or two (it's written into the loan documents otherwise known as the "note"), the interest rate changes.

For example, Mr. Jones may have started with a payment of $560.00 a month, but his two years is up and now his new payment is 900.00 a month. Mr. Jones used a predatory lender to get his mortgage, so his income was falsely represented (inflated), making him qualify for much more than he could even afford. This predatory lender assured Mr. Jones that if he just "hung in there" and made the payments for a while, he could refinance it before the interest rate change came up, and he would be just fine. Mr. Jones was pretty excited to get into his first home, so he signed away.

Meanwhile, as the months passed Mr. Jones faithfully paid his mortgage, month after painful month, oftentimes even letting his other bills go just a little further past due, all the while dreaming of the day he could refinance into an even lower payment. He hoped everything would be OK, and that he could pull through this. Eventually, he could stretch no further, and something had to give. With a shut off notice on his utilities, and a garnishment on his wages, he had to skip a mortgage payment.

Finally, the pre-determined date that the interest rate was set to change came. As written in the agreement,, The LIBOR and index rate published in the Wall Street Journal were used by the mortgage company to determine the new interest rate. the economy was bad, so the interest rate ended up increasing significantly. Poor Mr. Jones had done all he could, but now he couldn't pay anything.

To make things even worse, Mr. Jones had set up his Mortgage to be escrowed, a process where the customer requests the mortgage company to charge an extra payment amount each month and save it in an account to pay the taxes and insurance for the property each year. Well, Mr. Jones lives in Florida, and the taxes went up there due to the hurricanes. The insurance went up to. This increase, of course, HAD to be passed on the Mr. Jones in his payment. How else would the mortgage company be able to pay the taxes and insurance?

Mr. Jones shot himself. Just kidding he didn't really shoot himself. He called me, and I told him to sell his property because he couldn't afford it. He begged and pleaded with me to lower the payments to whatever they were originally. I reasoned with him that it was a possibility, but wouldn't really help since the taxes and insurance had gone up. I went over his income and found out that his expenses were more than his income. Mr. Jones said that he would work 2 jobs, sell his car, and cut his expenses but it was plain to see that he never should have been approved for this home in the first place. Mr. Jones needed to just sell the property if he even could, before foreclosure happened.

Predatory lenders have caused America to rethink the lending process. It is no longer as easy to get a home loan. Many of those who were able to get a predatory lender to get them qualified and that were able to somehow make good on the payments can't even qualify for a refinance now.

I often talk to Customers in Florida, and in many other states who say they can't sell their property now because every house on their block is for sale. There's too much competition. Besides, you can now buy a brand new freshly built house for less than an old one because the property values have decreased so much.

There have been a reported total of 925,986 foreclosure filings — default notices, auction sale notices and bank repossessions — on 573,397 properties nationwide during the first six months of the year. That's one foreclosure filing for every 134 U.S. households for the first half of the year.. The Foreclosure rate jumped 55% in the first half of 2007 alone.

I will let your imagination take you from there. Consider the effects on everything else. Consider the delicate balance of our ecosystem and also consider how everything is connected, etc... and consider what is going to happen here. Enough to make you sick. Well that's my job. To save all of them I can, or more importantly to decide if foreclosure is indeed the only option.

That's all folks. hope I didn't shock you too much. But get ready for shit to hit the fan, cuz it aint over yet by a long shot.

Bu$hco & Musharraff ~Birds of a Feather

Bu$hco remains nonchalant about Pervez Musharraff's control of the supreme court, while Condi's assistant, John Negroponte, visits Pakistan. Indeed Pervez's use of emergency rule, and the arrest of thousands of attorneys who dare to disagree with him is not much different from Duhbya's increasing powers over the three branches of government in the US, and a matter of concern by "We The People" in our upcoming elections.

Mr Negroponte told reporters that while the US still regarded General Musharraf as a valuable ally, the measures he had taken since imposing a state of emergency on 3 November "run directly counter to the reforms that have been undertaken in recent years".

He added: "Emergency rule is not compatible with free, fair and credible elections, which require the active participation of political parties, civil society and the media." But Mr Negroponte admitted that his presentation to General Musharraf had so far brought no new concessions: "In diplomacy, as you know, we don't get instant replies."

The stalemate highlights Washington's lack of leverage. It has provided more than $11bn (£5.4bn) to Pakistan since the terror attacks of 11 September 2001, but has clearly shown it does not intend to stop such aid – in fact it has been reported that the US spent an additional $100m over the past six years to help General Musharraf secure his country's nuclear weapons.

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN -- They were a soft-spoken group, these men in business suits, perched decorously on plastic chairs in a shabby courtyard outside the Islamabad Bar Assn. But nearly all had raw, hoarse voices.

"It's because we're shouting every day," Mohammed Tayyab, the association's secretary, said half-apologetically, clearing his throat. "We prefer to talk, but in these days, we have to shout."

In Pakistan's third week of de facto martial law, it is the lawyers who have shouted the loudest and longest. Since Nov. 3, these incongruous firebrands have spilled from their courtrooms into the streets, a pudgy and bookish vanguard of opposition to President Pervez Musharraf's emergency decree.

Television coverage aired around the world, but not in Pakistan, has shown droves of lawyers clad in the black suits they must wear in court hurling stones at police and choking on tear gas. In the early days of emergency rule, more than 2,000 barristers wound up in jail, and hundreds more were beaten bloody or fled into hiding.

Vast Detail on Towers' Collapse May Be Sealed

What is almost certainly the most sophisticated and complete understanding of exactly how and why the twin towers of the World Trade Center fell has been compiled as part of a largely secret proceeding in federal court in Lower Manhattan.

WTC Floor Construction

The following two quotes are from the FEMA report into the collapse of the World Trade Center towers.

Floor construction typically consisted of 4 inches of lightweight concrete on 1-1/2-inch, 22-gauge non-composite steel deck. In the core area, slab thickness was 5 inches. Outside the central core, the floor deck was supported by a series of composite floor trusses that spanned between the central core and exterior wall. Composite behavior with the floor slab was achieved by extending the truss diagonals above the top chord so that they would act much like shear studs, as shown in Figure 2-6.



The above photo clearly shows the truss diagonals extending above the top chord. They extend a few inches above the present floor/deck level, and will be set in the concrete floor slab, once it is poured. They are the wire-like projections from the floor/deck (at the bottom of the picture). Each 60 foot span of double truss had about 15 pairs of "shear studs" with each pair of studs separated by 40 inches. Each 35 foot span of double truss had about 8 pairs of "shear studs".

Giuliani - September Criminal or 911 hero?

Bill Manning, editor of Fire Engineering, a 125-year-old-monthly firefighting trade magazine with ties to the New York City Fire Department, wrote in an editor's opinion piece in the January 2002 issue called "$elling Out the Investigation", "Fire Engineering has good reason to believe that the 'official investigation' blessed by FEMA and run by the American Society of Civil Engineers is a half-baked farce that may already have been commandeered by political forces whose primary interests, to put it mildly, lie far afield of full disclosure." He also called for an immediate stop to the removal of steel from the site of ground zero saying the steel from the site should be preserved as a crime scene so that investigators can examine what caused the collapse and pass that knowledge on to future generations of engineers. The editorial continues, "A growing number of fire protection engineers have theorized that 'the structural damage from the planes and the explosive ignition of jet fuel in themselves were not enough to bring down the towers," the editorial stated.

And yet rather than preserve that scene or allow the emergency workers to search for their fallen comrades, Giuliani instead brought in the NYPD to seal off the area and minimize any search and rescue work. He was in a rush to start dismantling ?the pile' siding with developers and agreed to a plan to sell off the scrap metal to foreign nations for even cheaper than what they could have sold it for here in the States. Why go through the trouble of shipping scrap metal out of country if you do not have something to hide? "New York authorities' decision to ship the twin towers' scrap to recyclers has raised the anger of victims' families and some engineers who believe the massive girders should be further examined to help determine how the towers collapsed."

Petraeus said it himself during an interview with Charlie Rose on April 26, 2007:

"We have gone to great lengths to practice what every counterinsurgency manual ever published says, and that is if you want to secure a population, you have to live with it. You have to be there with an enduring presence so that they know you're not going to leave....And then we have to use population control methods, if you will, barriers to prevent vehicles from just moving freely so that, in fact, once you've cleared a neighborhood, you can, indeed, actually hold it. Now, hopefully with the support of the population you're securing."

CNN Pulls 911 Mystery Plane Video: The Military's 747 E4B 'Doomsday' Plane flew over white house on 9/11 - A large plane was sighted over the White House on 9/11 at about the time of the Pentagon strike, or soon after. Witnesses who saw the plane say it circled over Washington.

Now, you simply don't see aircraft in the area over the White House. That is supposed to be restricted air space. Amazingly enough, it is not mentioned in the 9/11 report.

911 $elling out the investigation

Bill Manning, editor of Fire Engineering, a 125-year-old-monthly firefighting trade magazine with ties to the New York City Fire Department, wrote in an editor's opinion piece in the January 2002 issue called "$elling Out the Investigation", "Fire Engineering has good reason to believe that the 'official investigation' blessed by FEMA and run by the American Society of Civil Engineers is a half-baked farce that may already have been commandeered by political forces whose primary interests, to put it mildly, lie far afield of full disclosure." He also called for an immediate stop to the removal of steel from the site of ground zero saying the steel from the site should be preserved as a crime scene so that investigators can examine what caused the collapse and pass that knowledge on to future generations of engineers. The editorial continues, "A growing number of fire protection engineers have theorized that 'the structural damage from the planes and the explosive ignition of jet fuel in themselves were not enough to bring down the towers," the editorial stated.

And yet rather than preserve that scene or allow the emergency workers to search for their fallen comrades, Giuliani instead brought in the NYPD to seal off the area and minimize any search and rescue work. He was in a rush to start dismantling ?the pile' siding with developers and agreed to a plan to sell off the scrap metal to foreign nations for even cheaper than what they could have sold it for here in the States. Why go through the trouble of shipping scrap metal out of country if you do not have something to hide? "New York authorities' decision to ship the twin towers' scrap to recyclers has raised the anger of victims' families and some engineers who believe the massive girders should be further examined to help determine how the towers collapsed."

Why would Giuliani all of a sudden forcefully remove Firefighter's from 'the pile' and in such a way that resulted in a brawl between the NYPD and the NYFD? What the mainstream press will never dig into or question is: why did Giuliani place more importance on cleaning up "the pile" than in taking a slow-retrieval approach to accessing the bodies of firefighters, police, and emergency workers still trapped in the wreckage of those buildings? Though 2 months later, chances were that no one was still alive, many still clung to the hope, that loved ones would be dug out of the devastation of those destroyed buildings. Families wanted a chance for closure, bodies of their loved ones returned so that they could honor them with a proper memorial and burial. The friends families of the fallen wanted to take their time in dismantling 'the pile', so that the dead would be respected and given opportunity to be reached and yet Giuliani thought it better to begin a rushed quick dismantling of 'ground zero,' completely disregarding his most important constituency when it comes to reinforcing him as the 9/11 hero he has now determined to take his Presidential stance on.

The firefighters believe that the city went to a 'scoop and dump' policy because they were in a rush to retrieve gold. "The fact is that the Mayor's switch to a scoop-and-dump coincided with the final removal of tens of millions of dollars of gold, silver and other assets of the Bank of Nova Scotia that were buried beneath what was once the towers. Once the money was out, Giuliani sided with the developers that opposed a lengthy recovery effort, and ordered the scoop-and-dump operation so they could proceed with redevelopment." With his training as District Attorney for New York, Giuliani knows from his prosecutor days that the first rule of a criminal investigation is in cordoning off a crime scene and preventing the tampering or removal of any piece of evidence within that area. Usually officers are put in place to prevent the eradication, removal of, or disruption of anything within that scene. Surely the events of September 11, 2001, constitute the most egregious, barbaric, terroristic, and criminal act ever perpetuated on American soil.

Yesterday, when we gleefully listed Michael Mukasey's homeboy specifications (born in the Bronx, went to an UES yeshiva, etc.), we glossed over the most intriguing part: the current A.G. nominee's extensive ties to Rudy Giuliani. The connections between the two deserve their own list. Not only did Mukasey swear in the mayor in both 1994 and 1998, he donated heavily to his presidential campaign; Mukasey's son Marc works at Bracewell & Giuliani, Rudy's boutique law firm; and both Marc and Michael are the Giuliani campaign's judicial advisers. In fact, as a federal judge in the Giuliani era, Mukasey had to recuse himself from some City Hall–related cases because of his friendship with the mayor. Today's Times even describes a less-than-hilarious prank Mukasey played on Giuliani in the seventies (it involved Rudy getting a job at a law firm).

This begs an obvious question: Will Mukasey's very likely confirmation give Rudy an astonishing campaign advantage — a man of his own in D.C.? Are we looking at the filling of the first chair in the theoretical Giuliani cabinet? And why would George Bush hand Rudy such a splendid gift? The thrice-married, pro-choice hardass, whose perceived 9/11 heroics contrast mightily with My Pet Goat, can hardly be the president's preferred successor.

The Closure of Ground Zero to Investigators

While the steel was being removed from the site of the three largest and most mysterious structural failures in history, even the team FEMA had assembled to investigate the failures -- the Building Performance Assessment Team (BPAT) -- was denied access to the evidence. The Science Committee of the House of Representatives later identified several aspects of the FEMA-controlled operation that prevented the conduct of an adquate investigation:

* The BPAT did not control the steel. "The lack of authority of investigators to impound pieces of steel for investigation before they were recycled led to the loss of important pieces of evidence."
* FEMA required BPAT members to sign confidentiality agreements that "frustrated the efforts of independent researchers to understand the collapse."
* The BPAT was not granted access to "pertinent building documents."
* "The BPAT team does not plan, nor does it have sufficient funding, to fully analyze the structural data it collected to determine the reasons for the collapse of the WTC buildings."

Gene Corley complained to the Committee that the Port Authority refused to give his investigators copies of the Towers' blueprints until he signed a wavier that the plans would not be used in a lawsuit against the agency.


Rudolph Giuliani banned photographs of Ground Zero

No Photographs!

On September 26th, then-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani banned photographs of Ground Zero. 6 An account by an anonymous photographer (AP), who took the photographs at the end of the Ground Zero photographs page, describes the treatment of this citizen investigator.
At the end of this return walk a NYC police officer asked to be shown authorization for taking photographs. AP said there was none. The officer asked how access to the site was gained. AP said I just walked in. Other police officers were consulted, several said this is a crime scene, no photographs allowed.

A NYC police captain was consulted who directed that AP be escorted from the site but that the digital photos need not be confiscated. The captain advised AP to apply for an official permit to photograph the site.

A NYC police officer took AP to New York State police officers nearby who asked to examine the digital camera and view the photographs. Without telling AP, who was being questioned by a State police officer, the photographs were deleted from the camera's compact flash memory chip by another State police officer.

AP was then escorted to the perimeter of the site by yet another NYC police officer who recorded AP's name, and who issued a warning to stay away from the site or face arrest.

They successfully fled the brutal military regime, but their path seldom led to a happier life. In Thailand, greedy entrepreneurs have been quick to exploit illegal immigrants from Burma. They are given the country's dirtiest jobs and they live under appalling conditions.

When a garbage truck rolls into the waste dump at Mae Sot, a city of 120,000 residents on Thailand's border with Burma, 12-year-old Ma Nge knows it's time to get moving. The dump truck barely has enough time to unload its stinky freight before an army of at least 20 children and their parents descend upon the trash in the hope of fishing out anything that could be of use. It goes without saying that whoever arrives first gets the best stuff.

President Bush was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation in Arizona. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American's present standard of living. He referred to his career as Governor of Texas, how he had signed "YES" 1,237 times for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval. Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his "red brothers."

At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name -- Walking Eagle. The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they come to select the new name given to the President. They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of s**t it can no longer fly.

Congress needs to put the needs of those who put on the uniform ahead of their desire to spend more money. When it comes to funding our troops, some in Washington should spend more time responding to the warnings of terrorists like Osama bin Laden, and the requests of our commanders on the ground, and less time responding to the demands of MoveOn.org bloggers and Code Pink protesters..
