The War President's Ideological Agenda

In his speech to an audience of his choosing, George delivered the words that were prompted to him. Words that echoed the same old messages, with more war rhetoric than usual. The words of a "War Presiden't"...his ideological dream from long before he became president. A dream to be achieved at all costs, without regard for truth, justice, and the American Way.

QUOTE:
"The war we fight today is more than a military conflict. It is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century. (Applause.)

On one side are those who believe in the values of freedom and moderation, the right of all people to speak and worship and live in liberty. And on the other side are those driven by the values of tyranny and extremism, the right of a self-appointed few to impose their fanatical views on all the rest. As veterans, you have seen this kind of enemy before. They're successors to fascists, to Nazis, to communists and other totalitarians of the 20th century, and history shows what the outcome will be. This war will be difficult, this war will be long, and this war will end in the defeat of the terrorists of -- totalitarians, and a victory for the cause of freedom and liberty."

Bush pledges 'terror war' victory

President George W Bush has said victory in Iraq is essential to the US winning the "war on terror" against the Islamist groups ranged against it.
The US would not leave Iraq until victory was achieved, he told military veterans in Salt Lake City, Utah.

And he warned Iran of "consequences" if it continued to defy the international community over its nuclear programme.

The speech is one of a series in which Mr Bush is defending his security strategy as mid-term polls approach.

"The war we fight today is more than a military conflict," Mr Bush said. "It is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st Century."

Israel is a nuclear power & armed to the teeth

Israeli soldiers load atomic handgrenades onto a military vehicle as Israeli orthodox Jews show their support for the troops, along the Israeli Lebanese border Wednesday July 26, 2006.

ISRAELI MILITARY & WEAPONS

We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: "Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother." I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible. Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.'

Exclusive: Israel buys 2 German subs
By YAAKOV KATZ

The contract signing was said to have come after a long dispute over the price and financing of the submarines. According to the details obtained by the Post, Israel will purchase the two Dolphins, manufactured by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft AG, for $1.27 billion, a third of which will be financed by the German government.

The navy already has three Dolphin-class submarines. They are the most expensive weapon platforms in the IDF's arsenal. Germany donated the first two submarines after the first Gulf War and split the cost of the third with Israel. The three submarines currently in the navy's possession employ a diesel-electric propulsion system, which requires them to resurface frequently to recharge their batteries.

What are Bush's approval ratings ~MAP~

George W Bush DISAPPROVAL MAP

Not everybody believes the recent terrorist threats.

There is quite a bit of controversy about the recent terrorist threat
in Great Briton. The alleged liquid explosive story doesn't hold much water. The only ingredient mentioned so far is hydrogen peroxide, a common household item, that most everyone I know has in their medicine cabinet. While it is true that powerful liquid explosives do exist, what is being used here for a major terrorist plot is ridiculous.

Mass murder in the skies: was the plot feasible?

Thomas C Greene

August 18, 2006

We're told that the suspects were planning to use TATP, or triacetone triperoxide, a high explosive that supposedly can be made from common household chemicals unlikely to be caught by airport screeners. A little hair dye, drain cleaner, and paint thinner - all easily concealed in drinks bottles - and the forces of evil have effectively smuggled a deadly bomb onboard your plane.

Or at least that's what we're hearing, and loudly, through the mainstream media and its legions of so-called "terrorism experts." But what do these experts know about chemistry? Less than they know about lobbying for Homeland Security pork, which is what most of them do for a living. But they've seen the same movies that you and I have seen, and so the myth of binary liquid explosives dies hard.

Now, if they were using nitroglycerine, it would definately be something to be concerned about.

A terrorist could create a bomb on board after smuggling separate, harmless liquids that become explosive when combined.
When it was building the transcontinental railroad, the Central Pacific Railroad company got around federal law banning nitroglycerine on trains shipping its ingredients to the work site for mixture. A terrorist could do the same thing, assembling the components in his seat or in a lavatory after smuggling them past unsuspecting security guards.

Only 20% Of Britons Believe Blair On Terror Threats

Bush's Weapon of Mass Deception

By Larry C. Johnson
Noquarter.typepad.com
Thursday 17 August 2006

It is a week since news broke in London about an alleged plot to blow up nine commercial jetliners, and there are emerging indicators that Bush and Blair exaggerated the truth about the actual readiness of the so-called plot. And yes, I mean so-called plot. Why would Bush and Blair hype a terrorist threat? A very simple answer. The White House was on notice that Seymour Hersh's story in the New Yorker claimed that the Bush administration encouraged Israel to invade Lebanon as part of a broader scheme to set the stage for war with Iran. Tony Blair, Bush's enabler, went along with the ruse.

Terror suspects appear in London court

In the Walthamstow community, police had been guarding the houses where the suspects lived, in many cases with their extended families, while forensic technicians carried bags, boxes and pails from the houses to waiting vans.

Six of the 11 so far charged lived or grew up in the racially diverse northeast London neighborhood of Walthamstow. Although some residents of that heavily Pakistani-Muslim community say they fear a backlash, only a few minor incidents have been reported.

The investigation of this terrorist plot has been ongoing for around a year. Why did Great Britain decide to announce this at this time on weak evidence. Was this all that they could come up with after a year of surveillance on over 1000 muslims in London. There are over 32,000 muslims, approximately 15%, in Walthamstow alone, and 1.5 million living in England and Wales, After all this time, Scotland Yard managed to round up 20 people or so, and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide?

Young Muslim Rage Takes Root in Britain Unemployment, Foreign Policy Fuel Extremism

LONDON, Aug. 12 -- Naweed Hussain sat in his little real estate office Friday, trying to focus on spreadsheets instead of the angry clatter outside.

Furious young Muslim men crowded around the local mosque on his street, surrounded by television cameras. They complained that their friends, other young Muslim men from Walthamstow, in East London, had been unfairly accused of plotting to blow up airliners. Police guarded the home of one suspect in what authorities call a plot to kill people on an "unimaginable" scale, allegedly planned right here in Hussain's working-class neighborhood.

"Why is it not happening in some other country?" wondered Hussain, 53, a soft-spoken man in a tie and black-rimmed glasses who has lived here since he migrated from Pakistan 40 years ago. "Why is it happening here?"

The British security service, known as MI5, disclosed last month that it had about 1,200 Islamic militants under surveillance who were considered capable of carrying out violent attacks. Peter Clarke, the head of Scotland Yard's anti-terrorism branch, said police were engaged in 70 separate terrorism investigations, the most ever. "This is unprecedented and the flow of new cases shows no sign of abating," Clarke said. "If anything, it is accelerating."

Since the July attacks, Blair's government has toughened anti-terrorism laws, making it a crime to "glorify" terrorism and easing procedures for deporting clerics and others who advocate violence. The government has increased the number of Muslim police officers on the beat and conducted extensive outreach in Britain's Muslim community, which officially numbers 1.6 million people but is widely believed to be 2 million or more.

Who can forget the chutzpah of President George W. Bush as he bragged to Bob Woodward, "I'm commander in chief.... That's the interesting thing about being president ... I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation."

Wrong, Mr. President. You and Vice President Cheney seem to have missed "Constitution 101." And you seem to have laughed off admonitions against hiring lawyers eager to give an obsequious nihil obstat to whatever you want to do. You have allowed the likes of David Addington, Alberto Gonzales, and John Yoo to do what Senator Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska) has accused you and your advisers of doing regarding Iraq – "making it up as they go along." It's enough to make you believe Shakespeare may have been right about lawyers.

Isreal violates cease fire & abducts Palestinian Official

Looking at the big picture, I wonder who is terrorised and who are the terrorists. Israel has allready violated the cease fire, and has abducted several members of the Hamas cabinet, and around 30 Palestinian lawmakers. In Lebanon they have invaded with armoured troop carriers, helicopters, and fighter planes, taking out yet one more bridge on the Litani River. Most of the bridges along 90 miles of the river have been destroyed. Does this look like Israel is planning to vacate Southern Lebanon soon?

Middle East: Israel Violates Cease-Fire, Arrests Palestinian Official

PRAGUE, August 19, 2006 (RFE/RL) -- Despite a UN resolution calling for a cease-fire in the Middle East there was fighting overnight in Lebanon and anger in the Palestinian territories at the arrest of a top government official.

Israeli troops abduct Palestinian deputy prime minister

Posted: 19-08-2006 , 14:10 GMT

Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Nasser ShaerIsraeli soldiers abducted the Palestinian deputy prime minister early Saturday, the army said, the highest-ranking Hamas official to be captured by Israel in a six-week-old crackdown against the ruling Hamas party.

According to press reports, occupation troops stormed into the home of Nasser Shaer around 4:30 a.m. and took him away, the deputy prime minister's wife, Huda, said. She added her husband had been in hiding since Israel started its crackdown in late June after Hamas fighters in the Gaza Strip infiltrated southern Israel and captured a soldier. She said he had rarely been home during that period.

The army confirmed Shaer was arrested in Ramallah overnight for his involvement and activity in Hamas.

With Shaer's abduction, four members of the Hamas-dominated Palestinian Cabinet and some 30 Hamas lawmakers are in Israeli hands. Four other ministers have been detained and released.

Lebanon Gives Warning After Israeli Raid

By SAM F. GHATTAS

BEIRUT, Lebanon Aug 19, 2006 (AP)— Israeli commandos raided a Hezbollah stronghold deep inside Lebanon Saturday, sparking a fierce clash with militants that left one Israeli soldier dead. Lebanon called the raid a "flagrant violation" of the U.N.-brokered cease-fire, while Israel said it was aimed at disrupting arms smuggling from Iran and Syria.

Witnesses also said Israeli missiles destroyed a bridge during the raid in what would be the first such airstrike since the cease-fire took effect on Monday, ending 34 days of warfare between the two sides.

The fighting did not appear to be escalating, but it highlighted the fragility of the 6-day-old truce as the United Nations pleaded for nations to contribute to an international peacekeeping force due to patrol southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military said such operations would continue until "an effective monitoring unit" was in place to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its arsenal.

"If the Syrians and Iran continue to arm Hezbollah in violation of the (U.N. cease-fire) resolution, Israel is entitled to act to defend the principle of the arms embargo," Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said. "Once the Lebanese army and the international forces are active … then such Israeli activity will become superfluous."

WASHINGTON - The Sept. 11 commission was so frustrated with repeated misstatements by the Pentagon and FAA about their response to the 2001 terror attacks that it considered an investigation into possible deception, the panel’s chairmen say in a new book.

DOBBS: Tonight, we're one month away from the fifth anniversary of September 11th. A shocking new book by the 9/11 Commission co- chairmen, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, says Americans still don't know the whole truth about their government's initial response to those terrorist attacks that day.

CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Two hours of chaos and confusion on September 11th, and months of government ineptitude at incorrect testimony. A new book by 9/11 commission co- chairmen Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton outlines repeated misstatements by the Pentagon and Federal Aviation Administration.

They write, "Fog of war could explain why some people were confused on the day of 9/11. But it could not explain why all of the after-action reports, accident investigations and public testimony by FAA and NORAD officials advanced an account of 9/11 that was untrue."

Untrue, the military's original timeline of United Flight 93. The military said FAA notified NORAD of a hijacked plane at 9:16 a.m., 47 minutes before the plane crashed in Pennsylvania. In fact, the military found out three minutes after the plane crashed. And equally untrue, the government's timeline for American Flight 77 and details about fighter jets scrambled to intercept it.

The book also alleges government officials weren't forthcoming with the investigation and it took interviews and subpoenas to shake loose valuable information.

A Pentagon audit declassified last year found "DOD did not accurately report to the 9/11 Commission on the response to the September 11th, 2001 hijackings." Pentagon investigators blamed "insufficient forensic capabilities" and worse. Admits, "DOD might not be able to sufficiently capture and report on actions taken in response to a future significant air event."

Still, so far government investigators stopped short of calling all these inaccuracies lies.

Now, Kean and Hamilton say all the inaccuracies have fueled conspiracy theorists, they've stymied the investigation, and Lou, damaged the credibility of this government.

DOBBS: Well, this government doesn't deserve much credibility, does it? In point of fact, if all of the after-action reports are untrue, for whatever reason, that's a lie, because they were asserted as the truth by people who knew better or should have.

ROMANS: And really troubling, the Department of Defense's own inspector general report that was declassified showed that if the same thing happened again, you'd have the same chaos and the same misreporting or lies afterward.

NJDC Responds to Republican Jewish Coalition Joe Lieberman Ad Campaign

August 9, 2006
Washington, DC - National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) Executive Director Ira Forman issued the following statement in response to the Republican Jewish Coalition's (RJC) announced ad campaign suggesting that Senator Joe Lieberman's loss in the Connecticut Senate primary election is an indication that Democrats are soft on Israel.

"I'm absolutely astonished by the RJC ad campaign. American Jews need to know that the Republican Jewish Coalition is no friend of Joe Lieberman, and it certainly isn't an advocate for the issues of importance to the mainstream of the Jewish community.

"For years, the RJC has criticized Joe Lieberman. Now they want to use his good name for their own political purposes. These guys have no shame.

Is Joe Lieberman Democrat, Independent, or Republican?

Joe Lieberman is neither a Democrat or an Independent, and I wonder if he is even a Republican. If we have to put a name on him, maybe "opertunist" would be fitting. The true effects of the defeat of Lieberman are now being seen in the Jewish community. The Republican Jewish Coalition is now beginning a campaign to smear the Democratic party. This, in my mind, is pretty strange in the light that Joe was running as a member of the Democratic party. Now he is going to run as an independent? This is ludicroius!
It is obvious that he is dependent on his allience with the Bush administration, as well as the Republican Jewish Coalition.

RJC Launches Ad Campaign on Lieberman Loss

Contact: Executive Director Matthew Brooks
Wednesday, August 9, 2006

The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) today announced it will begin a national advertising campaign to challenge the Jewish community to consider the nature of today’s Democratic Party given the defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman.

“Joe Lieberman was a voice of support for Israel. That voice has been silenced by the Democratic Party. America and Israel are worse off for it.” the RJC ad says.

“The Democratic Party is being taken over by the Cindy Sheehan, Howard Dean, Al Sharpton wing which represents weakness on foreign policy and neutrality toward Israel,” said RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks. “The left-wing defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman is a troubling development for all Jewish Americans who care about a strong national defense and support for Israel. Now that the Democrats have voted Joe Lieberman out of the party, Jewish Democrats should ask themselves, ‘Is this the political party I want to be part of?’”

The RJC advertisement will run in Jewish newspapers across the country. A PDF file is attached and it can be viewed on the RJC web site at www.RJCHQ.org.

Heavy fighting and a series of targeted strikes on open water channels and underground water diversion pipes has effectively suspended much of Lebanon's agricultural use of the Litani River along the coastal plain and in parts of the Bekaa Valley near Qaraon dam, according to water engineers who have surveyed the south.

The damaged or broken facilities include a pump station on the Wazzani River, whose inauguration by Lebanon in 2002 prompted Israel to threaten military action because it diverted waters only a few hundred meters from the Israeli border, in a watershed that feeds the Jordan River, officials here said. At the time, Hezbollah vowed to defend the facility.

The strikes went largely unnoticed by the outside world in the nearly monthlong air assault on Hezbollah guerrilla strongholds in southern Lebanon. But Lebanese point to the extensive damage to their irrigation and drinking-water system as evidence that border security and water issues remain intertwined in a region short on both.

"Whenever Israel throughout history has thought of its northern border, they don't talk, for example, of the mountains as a border. They always think of the valley of the Litani," said Mohammed Shaya, dean of the college of social sciences at Lebanese University.

Israel has said repeatedly that it has no designs on Lebanon's water. "There's a policy decision at the highest level not to target those water pumping stations," said Mark Regev, a spokesman for the Israeli foreign ministry. "We don't claim an inch of Lebanese sovereign territory. We don't claim a gallon of Lebanese water. We have no hostile intentions whatever towards Lebanon as a country, towards the Lebanese people or towards Lebanese natural resources."

But the enduring suspicion here that Israel regards the waters of the Litani as its own, and the lands to its south as a security perimeter help explain Lebanon's reluctance to accept any U.N. cease-fire resolution that does not call for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from the region.

At a minimum, Lebanese officials fear that the repeated attacks against water facilities - as well as bridges, highways, power plants and roads - signal an intent to debilitate Hezbollah-dominated southern Lebanon and enable a long-term Israeli presence there.

"They started [bombing] with the Litani water reservoir, the Litani dam. And we all know that the Litani has a special place in this country," said Fadl Shalaq, president of the Council for Reconstruction and Development. "It's a big reservoir of water, and the Israelis don't hide it that there are several parts of the Litani that they would like to take for themselves."

Officials in southern Lebanon said the attacks have hit not only bridges, but open water canals, crippling irrigation to thousands of acres in the Tyre region and in the Bekaa Valley.

During fighting near the Wazzani springs, a guard at the pump station was killed, the pump was knocked out of service and the underground pipes through which water is transported were heavily damaged, said Hussein Ramal, an engineer for the Litani Authority, which operates irrigation systems in the region. "Now every one of these villages is without water," he said.

The Litani flows 102 miles, entirely within Lebanon. It courses south through eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, before turning sharply westward two miles from the Israeli border, to head through the coastal plain to the Mediterranean, north of Tyre.

Israel has always argued that much of the Litani flows wasted to the sea.

A large portion of the river's flow is diverted to a series of hydropower dams, leaving relatively little for irrigation in southern Lebanon. But the Lebanese government had planned to bid a $200 million contract this summer to irrigate major new sections of southern Lebanon.

QASMIYA, Lebanon, Aug. 9 -- There are no more bridges along the 90 miles of the Litani River, dividing besieged southern Lebanon and Hezbollah's fighters from the rest of the country. One by one, Israeli forces bombed them all. So a little ways from the Mediterranean Sea, where the river's meandering waters eddy, then empty, about 20 men heaved, pushed, pulled and coaxed -- with appeals to God in between -- two water-logged trucks carrying supplies Wednesday to regions bearing the brunt of Israel's invasion.

General Wesley Clark Reveals Middle East Agenda

secret 2001 pentagon plan to attack lebanon

from global research: According to General Wesley Clark--the Pentagon, by late 2001, was planning to attack Lebanon...

"Winning Modern Wars" (page 130) General Clark states the following:

"As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.

Wesley Clark, the retired four-star general who is one of 10 candidates for the Democratic nomination for president, has written a new book that is just arriving on bookstore shelves. Called Winning Modern Wars, it’s mostly about the Iraq war and terrorism—and it is laced with powerful new information that he held back from the public when he was a CNN military commentator during the Bush administration’s preparations for the war.
For example, he says he learned from military sources at the Pentagon in November 2001, just two months after the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, that serious planning for the war on Iraq had already begun and that, in addition to Iraq, the administration had drawn up a list of six other nations to be targeted over a period of five years.

Sky News anchor interviews George Galloway or viceversa

galloway wipes the floor with sky news anchor

"It’s Israel that’s invading Lebanon. It’s Israel that’s attacking Lebanon. Not Lebanon that’s attacking Israel. You’ve just been carrying a report of 10 Israeli soldiers on the border getting ready to invade Lebanon and you ask us to mourn that operation as if it were some kind of war crime. Israel has invaded Lebanon and has killed thirty times more Lebanese than have died in Israel. So, it’s YOU who should be JUSTIFYING the evident bias which is written on EVERY line of your face and is in EVERY nuance of your voice and is loaded in EVERY question that you ask." - george galloway on sky news august 6, 2006

A Lecture By Captain Joyce Riley in Houston, Texas on January 15, 1996

Introduction
(Applause) Thank you so very much. I am Joyce Riley, and I am here because I love my God and I love my country, and I love my fellow man. We are going to hear a story tonight that unfortunately is the saddest story, not only of the 20th century, but of America's history. You are going to hear about the destruction of the United States military. I am sorry to have to bring you this story. I wish it wasn't true. I wish that I could protect you from what you are going to hear tonight, because it has taken me a year to investigate this story. During that time, I went through the worst depression you can imagine. I finally came to the conclusion one day that - yes, our country had provided the biologicals to Saddam Hussein that were used on our troops. Our troops are sick and they are dying.

My story started in 1991, when I decided to go back to the Air Force Reserve. I had been stationed in the late 1970's in New York State, and I had been involved as a flight nurse in the Air Force. I got out and was living my life, but then I heard that there was a war and that many of our men were going to die if they didn't have adequate care, and that they needed trained flight nurses. So, I decided to back into the service of my country. I went back to Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio and I volunteered to go to Saudi Arabia. As it was, I didn't go to Saudi Arabia because the cease-fire came, so I served active duty missions on a C-130 aircraft for about six months. After that, I returned back to Houston to my job, where I was a heart, lung, kidney and liver transplant nurse in Houston, Texas. I became very ill and I could get no answers. I didn't know why I was sick. No one would talk with me about it. No one would help me with it, and I had to find out the answers myself, alone.

U.S. asked to not interfere in Cuba

Cuba Says Raul Castro in Firm Control

HAVANA

The Communist leadership assured Cubans on Friday that Raul Castro was in firm control as acting president, and the health minister said Fidel Castro was "recovering satisfactorily" from intestinal surgery.

The government also issued its first decree since Fidel temporarily stepped down Monday for the first time in 47 years: The Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's bombing of the Lebanese village of Qana, calling it "cowardly, vile and criminal" and urging the world to force an immediate cease-fire.

The statement came as the government insisted it was operating normally, even though the island's longtime leader has temporarily ceded power to his younger brother Raul, the defense minister.

Some Cuban exiles, seizing on the unprecedented transfer of power, called for the U.S. government to do more to encourage a democratic transition on the island. But Cuba's government appeared undaunted.

"The unity and strength of the Revolution is being reinforced," said Granma, the Communist Party newspaper.

"We Cubans are prepared for the defense ... and Raul is there firmly at the helm of the nation, of the Revolutionary Armed Forces," Granma said.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged the Cuban people not to flee the island for Florida because of political uncertainty.

Rice promised the Cuban people humanitarian assistance when they begin "to chart a new course" after long years of communist rule.

"We encourage the people of Cuba to work at home for positive change," Rice said, signaling that the United States would not favor a mass exodus of the kind that Cubans undertook in 1980 and 1994.

Her remarks to the Cuban people were aired on the heavily jammed TV Marti and Radio

More than 160 writers, artists and actors from across the Americas and Europe have signed a declaration in support of the Cuban Government.

Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Hollywood actor Danny Glover were among the figures to sign a message condemning "harassment of Cuba", which was read out at May Day celebrations in Havana.

On his "700 Club" broadcast, Robertson said, "It is getting hotter, and the icecaps are melting and there is a buildup of carbon dioxide in the air."

Switching sides on an issue that divides evangelical Christians, Robertson said, "We really need to address the burning of fossil fuels."

The religious broadcaster told viewers, "If we are contributing to the destruction of this planet, we need to do something about it."

Israel requests more armaments from US

U.S. OKs rushing bombs to Israel
Move could mean many targets yet to be hit in Lebanon
David S. Cloud, Helene Cooper, New York Times

Saturday, July 22, 2006

07-22) 04:00 PDT Washington -- The Bush administration is rushing a delivery of precision-guided bombs to Israel, which requested the expedited shipment last week after beginning its air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, U.S. officials said Friday.

The decision to quickly ship the weapons to Israel was made with relatively little debate within the administration, the officials said. Its disclosure threatens to anger Arab governments and others because of the appearance that the United States is actively aiding the Israeli bombing campaign.
