On this April Fools day Obama appears to be juggling his position on the escalation of the war. Is he graduating from being a junior poltician to what is know as a "strange bedfellow". He started out being a liberal candidate who respected the peoples wishes. We let them be known in the last election. We aren't asking for his opinions, we are asking to bring the troops home and get out of Iraq. Nancy Pelosi can and is speaking for herself, and trying her best to get somewhere with this ludicrous situation. Where's the fire and the ring of truth that we've heard in the past from Barack Obama? Radical government requires radical change. Playing by the rules of this corporation that passes as a government will get us nowhwere, and playing politics with losers will surely bring no success in resolving the problems in the Middle East.

Obama Says Congress Will Fund Iraq War

If President Bush vetoes an Iraq war spending bill as promised, Congress quickly will provide the money without the withdrawal timeline the White House objects to because no lawmaker "wants to play chicken with our troops," Sen. Barack Obama said Sunday.

"My expectation is that we will continue to try to ratchet up the pressure on the president to change course," the Democratic presidential candidate said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I don't think that we will see a majority of the Senate vote to cut off funding at this stage."
